Today I attended my first author event. My booktwin, Mary and I truly enjoyed Starcrossed and we were so excited when we learned that Josie would be appearing in Pasadena. It was such a treat have the opportunity to meet her. She introduced herself, read an excerpt, had a Q & A and finished with book signings and photo ops. Readers voiced some really good questions and comments. We found ourselves listening intently one second and actually laughing out loud the next. Josie was very personable and made me feel comfortable. It was an honor to meet her and put a voice to the name and picture. She is funny, beautiful and very stylish. Mary and I briefly told her about our trip to Nantucket this summer, which was inspired by her book, Starcrossed. If you haven't read Starcrossed, READ IT. The Sequel, Dreamless is expected to be released next year.
