Review - TEMPEST by Julie Cross

I first found out about Julie Cross's Tempest through EW.com.  I fell in love with the cover and forwarded the article to Jenn saying how much I HAD to read this book.  Plus, the release date is set for my birthday.  Coincidence?  Nope. It's a sign!  So, finally, Jenn and I received the ARC through a book tour.  I cannot tell you how excited I was!!  Tempest was on the very top of my must read list.  Now, it's on the top of my to be purchased list!

YA Literary Trip (BOS/UCK/NYC)

I LOVE reading all of the time, but this summer has definitely been the summer of reading. A while ago I read My Name is Memory by Ann Brashares and absolutely loved it. Of course, I am still impatiently waiting for its sequel, but that's another post. Since then my booktwin, Mary and I have been on the hunt for YA books. More recently, it all started with The Hunger Game Series by Suzanne Collins, The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare, then we read Delirium by Lauren Oliver, and Divergent by Veronica Roth. Peeta, Katniss, Jace, Clary, Alex, Len, Four, Tris, and many others became household names. However, it wasn't until we came across Starcrossed by Josie Angelini, it was then that i think we both fell in love with Mr. Lucas Delos. It was nonstop Starcrossed, reading, thinking and in some cases dreaming about it.
